Construction progress video project reports
A video project report (VPR) is a short film that records the progress of a project for a set period, usually a month. It replaces pages of photos with a few minutes of footage that anyone in a review meeting can follow.
We have produced video project reports for a Dedicated Freight Corridor project under contract, combining drone passes with ground footage of each work front.
Who it is for
Project owners, PSUs, contractors and consultants who report progress to boards, lenders or ministries.
What you receive
- Monthly report film
- Edited film with location titles, captions and optional voice-over.
- Before and after sequences
- The same frame from earlier flights placed beside the current one.
- Raw footage archive
- Every flight kept and labelled by date and chainage or block.
- Short cuts for presentations
- One-minute versions for review meetings and social updates.
How it works
- 1Agree the report format, length and the work fronts to cover.
- 2Shoot drone and ground footage on the agreed dates.
- 3Edit, caption and narrate against the progress data you share.
- 4Deliver the film for review, revise once, then archive.

Questions about construction video project reports
What is included in a video project report?
Aerial and ground footage of each work front, titles naming the location or chainage, captions describing the work completed in the period, and an optional voice-over. The format is agreed at the start and kept consistent every month.
Can the report follow our own reporting format?
Yes. We can match the sections, naming and order of your written progress report so the film and the document can be reviewed together.
